About the FETProbe tiny PCB

FETProbe tiny is an open source PCB design by crteensy, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 23 × 15 mm, with 16 components from 14 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 5 capacitors, 4 resistors, 2 connectors, 1 transistor, 1 test point and 1 diode.

From the project

A tiny 1.3 GHz FET Probe

Stackup Any standard 1.6 mm thickness stackup should do the job. 1.6 mm is relevant here because it has an influence on the input capacitance.

Gerbers So far, gerbers were generated for JLCPCB, and they should for that manufacturer out of the box (see /gerbers/JLCPCB)

FETProbe tiny bill of materials (BOM)

16 components, 14 distinct parts — part numbers from the project's BOM.

FETProbe tiny: common questions

How big is the FETProbe tiny PCB?

The FETProbe tiny measures 23 × 15 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 0.29 mm thick.

How many components are on the FETProbe tiny?

16 components, from 14 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the FETProbe tiny design files?

From the crteensy/FETProbe_tiny repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the FETProbe tiny design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with crteensy. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
