About the ANCHOR PCB

ANCHOR is an open source PCB design by EPIC-Lab-UT, published on GitHub under the BSD-3-Clause license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 120.2 × 83 mm, with 55 components from 10 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 5 connectors, 4 capacitors and 4 resistors.

From the project

Open-source mixed-signal neuromorphic hardware platform built with COTS Knowm memristors. Includes the 16x4 array PCB design, control software, weight-derivation notebooks, and two labelled temporal classification datasets.

A COTS Memristor Hardware Platform for Temporal Signal Classification

An open-source mixed-signal platform that classifies temporal sensor signals using a physical 16×4 array of commercial off-the-shelf memristors on a standard PCB. Weights are stored as programmable resistance states and the computation happens in the signal path. No custom fabrication, no foundry access, and no digital multiply–accumulate.

ANCHOR: common questions

How big is the ANCHOR PCB?

The ANCHOR measures 120.2 × 83 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the ANCHOR?

55 components, from 10 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the ANCHOR design files?

From the EPIC-Lab-UT/ANCHOR repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the ANCHOR design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its BSD-3-Clause license, which EPIC-Lab-UT chose for the repository.
