About the Auto BOM PCB

Auto BOM is an open source PCB design by harrisontidy, published on GitHub. It is a board, with 3 components from 2 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 2 resistors and 1 capacitor.

From the project

AI-assisted KiCad BOM parser and electronic component sourcing tool.

Open sourcing-demo.kicadsch` in the custom KiCad editor. This is an RC divider with R1/R2 = 10 kΩ and C1 = 100 nF. Its nominal unloaded DC gain is 1/2 and cutoff is approximately 318 Hz.

Native Auto BOM selected Basic parts C17414 for R1/R2 and C14663 for C1, with AI disabled. It preserved the resistor footprints and automatically filled C1's empty footprint from EasyEDA. The grouped native export is sourcing-demo.csv.

Auto BOM: common questions

How many components are on the Auto BOM?

3 components, from 2 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Auto BOM design files?

From the harrisontidy/auto_BOM repository on GitHub, which has the schematic, a netlist and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Auto BOM design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with harrisontidy. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
