About the Lut from transistors PCB
Lut from transistors is an open source PCB design by MaxClerkwell, published on GitHub. It is a board, with 28 components from 7 distinct parts.
From the project
A look-up table built from MOS transistors: SKiDL, KiCad, ngspice, VCD output for GTKWave, and a paper
A LUT with two inputs, the logic element of an FPGA, built from 20 MOS transistors. The circuit is described in Python with SKiDL, drawn as a KiCad schematic, simulated with ngspice, and the result is written as a VCD file that opens in GTKWave.
To run it yourself, see Running the simulation.
A LUT with k inputs does not compute anything. It stores the truth table of a logic function in 2^k memory bits, and its inputs select which of these bits appears at the output. With two inputs there are four bits and therefore 16 possible functions, from AND to XOR, all realised by the same hardware.…

Lut from transistors: common questions
How many components are on the Lut from transistors?
28 components, from 7 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Lut from transistors design files?
From the MaxClerkwell/lut-from-transistors repository on GitHub, which has the schematic and a netlist; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Lut from transistors design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with MaxClerkwell. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
