About the Rainbow100-memory PCB
Rainbow100-memory is an open source PCB design by na103, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-NC-4.0 license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 254 × 74 mm, with 106 components from 28 distinct parts.
By type, the board carries 35 capacitors, 23 resistors, 1 connector, 1 switch and 1 inductor.
From the project
Digital Rainbow 100B memory expansion remake
This expansion board it can reach up to 896Kb of RAM. differently to 8088 XT PCs, Rainbow 100 architecture is not limited at 640Kb of memory. Kicad schematics is derived from Tony Duell's notes and at the end verified with original DEC schematics. 95% of the components and traces have been rebuilt respecting the original position; only the bipolar Prom E7 whos entrusted control logic for the memory banks switch has been replaced with a extra large GAL22V10.
