About the LED-PCB-Documentation

LED-PCB-Documentation is an open source PCB design by nizarbadriali, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 100 × 60 mm, with 3 components from 3 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 1 connector, 1 diode and 1 resistor.

From the project

A simple intro level printed circuit board, fully documented to nurture my deep understanding of circuits.

Status: Schematic and PCB designed; LTspice simulation completed; uploaded ERC, DRC, and schematic-parity results show zero reported violations under the configured checks. Manufacturing files exported. Physical assembly and testing pending.

A simple 5V → 220 Ω resistor → red LED → ground circuit, developed to practice circuit calculations, SPICE model fitting, PCB layout, and fabrication-file verification. The diode model is fitted to supplied I–V data whose provenance is not yet documented. Simulation results are predictions, not physical measurements.

LED-PCB-Documentation: common questions

How big is the LED-PCB-Documentation?

The LED-PCB-Documentation measures 100 × 60 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the LED-PCB-Documentation?

3 components, from 3 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the LED-PCB-Documentation design files?

From the nizarbadriali/LED-PCB-Documentation repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the LED-PCB-Documentation design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which nizarbadriali chose for the repository.
