About the Ieee PCB
Ieee is an open source PCB design by nruth633, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 90 × 90 mm, with 85 components from 12 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the 74HCT595D. By type, the board carries 49 resistors, 24 transistors, 5 connectors, 4 capacitors and 3 ICs.
From the project
One slice of the DU IEEE chapter's LED cube: 74HCT595 shift registers driving 24 LED channels (KiCad)
KiCad design for one slice of the LED matrix cube that the University of Denver IEEE chapter is building as a group project. Three daisy-chained 74HCT595 shift registers drive 24 MMBT3904 low-side switches, which gives eight RGB columns from a five-wire bus (CLK, DATA, LATCH, BLANK, GND).

Ieee: common questions
How big is the Ieee PCB?
The Ieee measures 90 × 90 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Ieee?
85 components, from 12 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Ieee design files?
From the nruth633/ieee-pcb repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Ieee design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with nruth633. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
