About the Fransys PCB
Fransys is an open source PCB design by OleJBondahl, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a board, with 3 components from 2 distinct parts.
By type, the board carries 2 resistors and 1 connector.
From the project
Python toolkit for electrical cabinet and harness design: one model, IEC schematics, lists and exports. Beta.
Fransys output: KiCad netlist. Dev tool: KiCad symbol to part-file skeleton.
Output contract: pure function of a Model returning str, bytes or a tuple of pages. No file I/O, no clock, no randomness. Same model digest, same bytes.
- netlist(model, board) -> str: the KiCad 9.0 s-expression netlist of one board, formatted from boardnetlist: one net per connected group of the board's own conductors and board-only declared nets (decision model-0042). Format and what it leaves out: decision kicad-0001. - check(model, board) -> tuple[Finding, ...]: what the importer would otherwise leave to…

Fransys: common questions
How many components are on the Fransys?
3 components, from 2 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Fransys design files?
From the OleJBondahl/fransys repository on GitHub, which has a netlist and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Fransys design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which OleJBondahl chose for the repository.
