About the ICE40-DIO PCB

ICE40-DIO is an open source PCB design by OLIMEX, published on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 50 × 50 mm, with 41 components from 18 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the MCP47A1T-A0E/LT(SC70-6) and 74ALVC164245DL(SSOP48). By type, the board carries 15 capacitors, 11 resistors, 3 ICs, 1 diode and 1 inductor.

From the project

IO expansion board for Olimex iCE40 main boards

iCE40-DIO adds 28 GPIOs to existing iCE40 boards. These signals can be set as inputs or outputs. The boards has a programmable DAC which can set the input voltage logic from 1.65 to 5.5V.

You can use the exported PDFs to access the schematic or the bill of materials.

We used the latest KiCad night builds to create the design. Please use a new version KiCad to open it.
