About the PCB-Keychain

PCB-Keychain is an open source PCB design by RichardM-1337, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 42.2 × 34.1 mm, with 5 components from 5 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 13.56MHZ. By type, the board carries 1 IC, 1 diode, 1 inductor, 1 capacitor and 1 resistor.

From the project

A cool keychain that will also act as a nfc of sorts that I can bring around wherever I go.

A simple yet kind of complex project that I will be undertaking in order to enhance my own pcb knowledge and be more experienced with using KiCAD.

PCB-Keychain: common questions

How big is the PCB-Keychain?

The PCB-Keychain measures 42.2 × 34.1 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the PCB-Keychain?

5 components, from 5 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the PCB-Keychain design files?

From the RichardM-1337/PCB-Keychain repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the PCB-Keychain design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which RichardM-1337 chose for the repository.
