About the Li ion charge PCB
Li ion charge is an open source PCB design by rmemory, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 31.9 × 25.9 mm, with 18 components from 11 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the MCP73834-FCI/UN. By type, the board carries 9 resistors, 3 connectors, 3 diodes, 2 capacitors and 1 IC.
From the project
Single cell lithumium ion charging circuit
This repo contains the schematic and PCB layout for a battery charge controller board.
The intent of this board is to provide a simple controller to connect a USB port to a discrete single cell recharagable Lithum Ion battery. The USB port will be used to provide power input only (~4.5v), and consequently the USB data port will not be used. This board will also be capable of providing power to a CPU board (3.3V).
