About the PixArt PCB

PixArt is an open source PCB design by trzy, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 49.5 × 49.5 mm, with 4 components from 4 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the PAJ7025. By type, the board carries 2 capacitors, 1 IC and 1 connector.

From the project

PAJ7025R2 for 6dof tracking: code (Arduino, Windows) and PCB (KiCad).

Cutout was created using an NPTH pad, with hole and pad dimensions being identical. Then, the following procedure was used to copy this to the Edge.Cuts layer (while also retaining it in "All copper layers", or wherever the hole appears by default).

PixArt: common questions

How big is the PixArt PCB?

The PixArt measures 49.5 × 49.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the PixArt?

4 components, from 4 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the PixArt design files?

From the trzy/PixArt repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the PixArt design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with trzy. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
