This repository ships a schematic but no board layout.

About the Embedded PCB

Embedded is an open source PCB design by Zaba505, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a board, with 9 components from 8 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 4 resistors, 2 connectors, 2 diodes and 1 transistor.

From the project

Home for various embedded projects that are not significant enough to get their own repo

A bare-metal Zig blinky for the Arduino Due (Atmel SAM3X8E, Cortex-M3). Toggles an externally wired LED on PD1 / digital pin 26 at 1 Hz.

The firmware is small on purpose — 540 bytes — and for most of this project's life the point was the toolchain: building and flashing go entirely through Dagger modules, with no host-installed Zig and no host-installed flashing tool. That is still true. What is no longer true is that the firmware is trivial: it now holds state about the world that it checks, and can be wrong about.

Embedded bill of materials (BOM)

Embedded: common questions

How many components are on the Embedded?

9 components, from 8 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Embedded design files?

From the Zaba505/embedded repository on GitHub, which has the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Embedded design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which Zaba505 chose for the repository.
