About the Pot stm braking PCB
Pot stm braking is an open source STM32 PCB design by aartech-dev, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-NC-4.0 license. It is a board, with 1 components from 1 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the STM32G041K6U6, from the STM32 family.

Open aartbrake.kicadpro in KiCad 7.0 or later. The schematic uses only inline symbol definitions (no external library dependencies), so it should open without any missing symbol warnings.
The sheet is arranged left-to-right by signal flow:
Q1 (brake FET, N-ch low-side): TIM3CH1 uses INVERTED output polarity. CCR=0 → pin HIGH → Q1 fully on → dead short. The 10kΩ pull-up R2 is on the GD1 input* (not Q1's gate). When the MCU is unpowered, R2 holds GD1 input HIGH → Q1 stays on → motor remains shorted = safe default.

Pot stm braking: common questions
What microcontroller does the Pot stm braking use?
The Pot stm braking is built around the STM32G041K6U6, from the STM32 family.
How many components are on the Pot stm braking?
1 components, from 1 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Pot stm braking design files?
From the aartech-dev/pot-stm-braking repository on GitHub, which has the schematic, a netlist and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Pot stm braking design in my own project?
It is published under CC-BY-NC-4.0, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
Can I test firmware for the Pot stm braking without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
