About the JLI-2555-tin can mic PCB
JLI-2555-tin can mic is an open source PCB design by anauseam, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 80 × 70 mm, with 24 components from 18 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the OPA134PA and TL072BCP. By type, the board carries 9 capacitors, 9 resistors, 2 ICs, 1 connector, 1 battery holder and 1 microphone.
From the project
JLI-2555 Microphone preamplifier
An open-source microphone circuit using a JLI-2555 capsule, built to be housed inside a standard tin can.
For a detailed overview of the circuit analysis, see the Anauseam documentation. It covers the design constraints and breaks down the individual stages of the circuit.
You can also view the schematic and PCB layout visually on CADLAB.io.
This microphone outputs a line-level voltage to reduce noise susceptibility, even when using an unshielded TS cable.
