Open-source automotive electronics for monitoring, control, ECU communication, and calibration. Originally developed for the Hyundai Coupe / Tiburon, with many projects designed to be adaptable to other vehicles, ECUs, and custom engine-management setups.
LTM43 is a hardware module that enables live calibration changes on Siemens SIMK43 engine control units.
The module replaces the original flash memory fitted to the ECU. A small pin-header adapter PCB is soldered directly onto the original flash IC footprint, and the LTM43 plugs into this adapter through female headers.
- A 1 Mbit flash memory, providing twice the capacity of the original 512 Kbit device. - A 512 Kbit SRAM, connected in parallel with the flash memory.
