About the Scaffold PCB
Scaffold is an open source PCB design by choubbikeyboards, published on GitHub under the Unlicense license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 242 × 155 mm, with 32 components from 10 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the Pro_Micro. By type, the board carries 2 ICs, 2 switches and 2 LEDs.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.
From the project
Modular split keyboard powered by QMK, with joysticks for mouse/scrollwheel emulation
This keyboard is inspired by many others, among which the Ferris, the Kyria, the Dactyl Manuform, and others. The major contribution of this project is the method of using PCB for simultaneous structural support and electrical wiring of individual keys.
This is still pretty much a prototype. The files I provide here have not yet been made into a PCB, although a previous version with minor changes has been tested successfully for some parts, and not so much for others. Software side is not too advanced either, and you'll have to write your own QMK keymap.c file, as I didn't write a basic…

Scaffold: common questions
How big is the Scaffold PCB?
The Scaffold measures 242 × 155 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Scaffold?
32 components, from 10 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Scaffold design files?
From the choubbikeyboards/scaffold repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Scaffold design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its Unlicense license, which choubbikeyboards chose for the repository.
