About the Expressyourself PCB

Expressyourself is an open source PCB design by dbostian, published on GitHub under the Custom license license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 60 × 57.5 mm, with 58 components from 17 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the ProMicroC and MCP41050. By type, the board carries 20 diodes, 9 connectors, 9 switches, 4 ICs, 3 LEDs and 3 capacitors.

This project is work in progress, and is released on an as-is basis. This repository contains all code, artwork (I printed a vinyl sticker), pcb schematics, gerbers, a bom, as well as 3d printing files (stls, f3d, step) for a 3d printed enclosure. The pedal will fit in a 125b enclosure. The code is working as…

Expressyourself: common questions

How big is the Expressyourself PCB?

The Expressyourself measures 60 × 57.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Expressyourself?

58 components, from 17 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Expressyourself design files?

From the dbostian/expressyourself repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Expressyourself design in my own project?

It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
