About the Sensorstrip power-42-square PCB
Sensorstrip power-42-square is an open source PCB design by eatnooM, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-SA-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 50 × 22 mm, with 13 components from 7 distinct parts.
By type, the board carries 5 connectors, 4 resistors, 2 diodes, 1 fuse and 1 switch.
From the project
USB-C powered, slim IR emitter for use with Wii / light guns
This board is only useful if you use 4IR light guns supporting a square LED layout (effectively, top + bottom sensor bars). At present, this is only true of the OpenFIRE project
A board that will take 5V from its USB-C board with 3 power states:
- Off - 2IR (for Wii or 2IR-based light guns) - 4IR (for light guns supporting square layouts)
These boards are ideal if you use one display for both Wii gameplay and light gun games.
