It belongs with the robotics & motion designs in this gallery.

From the project

A AM32 Based ESC

Electronic Speed Controller that is based of AM32 firmware, focused on smooth motor control, with a lot of reliability, easy rc configuration, and best suited for robotics apllications.

With the help of stm32 cube programmer and esc config tools in the Tools directory we can flash the esc with suitable latest firmware

BeastDrive: common questions

What microcontroller does the BeastDrive use?

The BeastDrive is built around the STM32G071KBU6, from the STM32 family.

How big is the BeastDrive PCB?

The BeastDrive measures 35.5 × 62.5 mm, has 8 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the BeastDrive?

57 components, from 18 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the BeastDrive design files?

From the FBIopeningUPP/BeastDrive repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the BeastDrive design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with FBIopeningUPP. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the BeastDrive without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
