About the Right board

Right board is an open source PCB design by flof-codes, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 10 × 19 mm, with 6 components from 5 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the C5267406. By type, the board carries 2 connectors, 2 capacitors, 1 IC and 1 resistor.

It belongs with the sensors, audio and wearables designs in this gallery.

From the project

An open-source platform for head-mounted multimodal biofeedback in balance rehabilitation. VestiCore combines an ESP32-S3 wearable headset with dual high-frequency IMU sensors, real-time spatial audio and vibrotactile feedback, a Flutter companion app, and a Node.js data collection server.

ESP32-S3 firmware for the VestiCore wearable headset. A real-time dual-core system that reads dual IMU sensors at 3840 Hz, estimates head orientation, and generates spatial audio and vibrotactile feedback with <10ms latency.

See docs/hardware/ for component list, pin layout, cable specs, and battery details.

Right board: common questions

How big is the Right board?

The Right board measures 10 × 19 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Right board?

6 components, from 5 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Right board design files?

From the flof-codes/vesticore repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Right board design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which flof-codes chose for the repository.
