- One port, two jobs. On a PD charger the module charges. On a phone it only reports (5 V never charges, so the phone isn't drained). It never does both at once. - Charging rules: - It starts after USB has stayed between 12 and 17 V for 5 s, then charges to your preset: Full, a custom %, Storage (3.80 V/cell) or Off. - If USB…

Usbc pd airsoft module: common questions

What microcontroller does the Usbc pd airsoft module use?

The Usbc pd airsoft module is built around the ST STM32F042F6P6, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Usbc pd airsoft module?

The Usbc pd airsoft module measures 135 × 21 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Usbc pd airsoft module?

80 components, from 44 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Usbc pd airsoft module design files?

From the Fluffik214/airsoft-battery-module repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Usbc pd airsoft module design in my own project?

It is published under CC-BY-NC-4.0, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.

Can I test firmware for the Usbc pd airsoft module without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
