About the QRPi WSPR PCB

QRPi WSPR is an open source PCB design by ha7dcd, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 45.3 × 24.5 mm, with 32 components from 21 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 12 capacitors, 7 inductors, 2 resistors, 1 transistor, 1 connector and 1 antenna.

From the project

QRPi PCB for 20

QRPi is a 20 m band, 20 dBm RF signal conditioner shield for the Raspberry Pi. It takes the RF square wave that the Pi generates on a GPIO pin and turns it into a clean, filtered QRP transmit signal: a MOSFET (MMBF170) stage followed by a multi-section low-pass filter. It was presented as a TAPR-DCC 2015 talk paper and was sold through TAPR and on Amazon.

This repository holds the board's original EAGLE design and manufacturing files (rev 1.6), and a KiCad 10 version of the same design.

QRPi WSPR: common questions

How big is the QRPi WSPR PCB?

The QRPi WSPR measures 45.3 × 24.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the QRPi WSPR?

32 components, from 21 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the QRPi WSPR design files?

From the ha7dcd/QRPi_WSPR_PCB repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the QRPi WSPR design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with ha7dcd. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
