About the Pulses plus submin v2 PCB
Pulses plus submin v2 is an open source PCB design by kuangmk11, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-NC-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 39.2 × 110 mm, with 89 components from 21 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the CD4050 and CD40106. By type, the board carries 33 diodes, 21 resistors, 10 switches, 10 LEDs, 6 capacitors and 5 connectors.
From the project
Turing Machine Expander
A performance-oriented gate router for the Music Thing Turing Machine. Eight pulse channels, each switchable to one of two merge buses or off; each bus computes the OR or the AND of whatever is routed to it, chosen live from the panel.
Built and tested. 8 HP, 128.5 × 40.16 mm.
It sits alongside a stock Pulses expander rather than replacing it, taking its signals from the Turing Machine's 16-pin expander ribbon and passing that ribbon through so other expanders can still be chained downstream.
