From the project

A simple H-Bridge circuit based on NPN-PNP-BJT pairs (for opposite polarity fairy lights). Works with WLED and ESPHome.

This project is a discrete transistor-based H-bridge driver designed to drive loads such as a bi-directional LED string or small DC motors (you need to populate the protection diodes in that case!) using two 3.3V logic-level PWM inputs.

Special thanks to PCBWay.com for reaching out to supply me with prototype PCBs. They turned out amazing and do work like a charm! This gave me the opportunity to fix a few things I got wrong in the first version - especially adding the protection diodes so this circuit can now not only drive LED-strips with anti-parallel circuits, but also small DC motors.
