About the Mr radar PCB
Mr radar is an open source PCB design by loxodes, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 70 × 43.1 mm, with 79 components from 34 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the HMC358, MGA-82563, HMC220, OPA1664AIPW and ADP3338. By type, the board carries 36 capacitors, 21 resistors, 8 ICs, 6 inductors, 4 connectors and 1 diode.
From the project
A compact open hardware FMCW radar altimeter.
mr_radar is an in development open hardware frequency modulated continuous wave radar.
It is a radar altimeter for remote control quad-rotor helicopters and UAVs. Eventually, it may be capable of radar imaging. One of the goals of this project is to be easily reproducible and inexpensive.
Board layout is done so using KiCad. Measurements (s-parameters, noise figure measurements) are available in data/
