About the SuperconductingQubitControlBoard PCB

SuperconductingQubitControlBoard is an open source PCB design by Malcollm, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 6-layer board measuring 64 × 80.4 mm, with 160 components from 42 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the LT3045XMSE, TRF372017IRGZR, SN65LVDS1DBV and AD9743BCPZ. By type, the board carries 8 inductors, 6 ICs, 6 connectors, 1 crystal and 1 fuse.

From the project

Custom FPGA-based control board for generating microwave I/Q signals used to drive superconducting qubits.

Custom FPGA-based control board for generating microwave I/Q signals used to drive superconducting qubits.

This project is a hardware and FPGA control system for producing shaped control signals for superconducting qubit experiments. The board uses an FPGA to generate digital waveform data, a high-speed DAC to convert that data into analog I/Q signals, and an RF stage to upconvert the signals to microwave frequencies.
