PCB design files for Arisutea STM32 Keyboard

アリステア PCB designed using KiCad. The layout was originally created by FateNozomi, inspired by Lyn's EM7 and TGR Alice with some modification. The layout was then modified by CorruptedJef and robotictomato to add USB-C, ESD and to shift/add some keys. This inspired me to modify the layout further by adding an STM32 and the ability to swap your switches out whenever you want and to make some keys a little more permenant. I have designed many boards in the past but never a keyboard so this is my first crack at it and I figured why not go all out? If you notice any issue please open an issue and…

Arisutea pcb stm32: common questions

What microcontroller does the Arisutea pcb stm32 use?

The Arisutea pcb stm32 is built around the 2N7002, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Arisutea pcb stm32?

The Arisutea pcb stm32 measures 339.1 × 121 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Arisutea pcb stm32?

175 components, from 31 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Arisutea pcb stm32 design files?

From the mattyams/arisutea-pcb-stm32 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Arisutea pcb stm32 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which mattyams chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Arisutea pcb stm32 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
