About the OpenErgo PCB
OpenErgo is an open source STM32 PCB design by ojthetiny, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 337.5 × 123.1 mm, with 95 components from 21 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the STM32F072C8Tx, from the STM32 family. By type, the board carries 1 fuse and 1 LED.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

- Alice layout - Supports OG Alice plate - Chonky external weight - 7.5 degree typing angle. - Flush USB-C connector built into the PCB - Skuf feet. - 3 Piece construction for no external screws (aside from weight)
- I do not offer any sort of warranty for this, nor can I be held liable if something goes wrong. - Renders are not fully representative of the final product - Please, PLEASE look over the design before you do anything with it, it's possible and very likely that there are some errors…

OpenErgo: common questions
What microcontroller does the OpenErgo use?
The OpenErgo is built around the STM32F072C8Tx, from the STM32 family.
How big is the OpenErgo PCB?
The OpenErgo measures 337.5 × 123.1 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the OpenErgo?
95 components, from 21 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the OpenErgo design files?
From the ojthetiny/OpenErgo repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the OpenErgo design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which ojthetiny chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the OpenErgo without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
