About the Myoelectric prosthetic PCB
Myoelectric prosthetic is an open source PCB design by Owenkim2006, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 78 × 52 mm, with 30 components from 18 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the AD623 and LM358. By type, the board carries 12 resistors, 9 capacitors, 5 ICs, 1 connector and 1 diode.
From the project
EMG-controlled myoelectric prosthetic hand with 7-stage analog front-end, Sallen-Key bandpass filter, dog clutch locking, and Arduino firmware - BME 261 final project, University of Waterloo
BME 261 Final Project · University of Waterloo · August 2026
This project develops a functional myoelectric prosthetic hand for transradial amputees performing demanding tasks. The system converts microvolt-level surface EMG signals into mechanical grip control through three integrated subsystems: a 7-stage analog front-end, non-blocking C++ firmware, and a dog clutch locking mechanism.
