About the Corne PCB

Corne is an open source PCB design by priyankub, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 133.8 × 91.4 mm, with 86 components from 12 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the ProMicro. By type, the board carries 27 inductors, 23 switches, 21 diodes, 10 jumpers, 3 connectors and 1 IC.

It belongs with the keyboards, power & battery and iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

From the project

Corne Chocolate Wireless Keyboard (nice!nano v2, nice!view, RGB LED, battery support)

A modern, low-profile split ergonomic keyboard based on the Corne (crkbd) Chocolate v2.1 footprint. Designed for completely wireless operation with nice!nano v2, native 5-pin nice!view (Sharp Memory LCD) support, onboard power management, and RGB backlighting.

Low-Profile Choc v1: Kailh Choc PG1350 switches with hotswap sockets. Native nice!view Header: 5-pin pinout tailored specifically for nice!view and Sharp Memory LCD modules ([CS, MOSI, SCK, VCC, GND]) without adapter boards or bodge wires. Dedicated Power Control: Onboard slide power switch (PCM12) and 2-pin JST-PH 2.0mm LiPo battery…

Corne: common questions

How big is the Corne PCB?

The Corne measures 133.8 × 91.4 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Corne?

86 components, from 12 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Corne design files?

From the priyankub/corne repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Corne design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which priyankub chose for the repository.
