About the Frostpad PCB
Frostpad is an open source PCB design by raiyan-islam-dev, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 74 × 69 mm, with 8 components from 3 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the MOUDLE-SEEEDUINO-XIAO. By type, the board carries 7 switches and 1 IC.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

My submission for Hack Club's Hackpad mission on Stardance. A 6-key macropad with a rotary encoder, built around a Seeed XIAO RP2040.
Six keys mapped to the number row by default, plus a rotary encoder for volume up, volume down and mute. The keycaps and the encoder knob are both my own designs, modeled to fit standard MX switches and an EC11 encoder shaft.
The switches are wired directly to the XIAO, no diode matrix. I had enough GPIO pins for it (6 switches plus 3 pins for the encoder), so I kept it simple instead of adding a matrix I didn't need.

Frostpad: common questions
How big is the Frostpad PCB?
The Frostpad measures 74 × 69 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Frostpad?
8 components, from 3 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Frostpad design files?
From the raiyan-islam-dev/Frostpad repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Frostpad design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with raiyan-islam-dev. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
