About the Vasvas PCB

Vasvas is an open source PCB design by stone-voices, published on GitHub under the Custom license license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 71.1 × 50.8 mm, with 29 components from 7 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 4580DD and Electrosmith Daisy Seed Rev7. By type, the board carries 14 resistors, 9 capacitors, 4 diodes, 1 IC and 1 module.

Noisebox with FX Processor based on Daisy Seed microcontroller.

This directory contains the KiCad files for manufacturing the VasVas Noisebox PCB. Includes schematic, pcb, and BOM.

The VasVas Noisebox base uses a plywood case with the following characteristics: - Stereo output as two separate jacks. One of them can be used as a stereo (left channel) if the right channel jack is not connected. - 9..15v power - 4 potentiometer knobs - 1 push button - 2 LEDs

Vasvas: common questions

How big is the Vasvas PCB?

The Vasvas measures 71.1 × 50.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Vasvas?

29 components, from 7 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Vasvas design files?

From the stone-voices/vasvas repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Vasvas design in my own project?

It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
