About the LED-Tuning-Board
LED-Tuning-Board is an open source PCB design by tebl, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-1.2 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 99.7 × 64.1 mm, with 54 components from 37 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the LM317_TO-220 and Test Socket. By type, the board carries 28 resistors, 8 test points, 6 connectors, 6 jumpers, 2 ICs and 2 capacitors.
From the project
Have you ever looked at the datasheet for an LED, and failed to find a brightness combination that you'll enjoy looking at? Without doing the math? Plug things into this before guessing.
If you were to take a look at many of my repositories, you'll find that for someone who doesn't actually love having a bunch of LEDs on things, I seem to tell people to use a whole lot of them. There are projects where I've gone through several revisions, installing different colours on them so that I'd instantly be able to tell them apart. What you won't find is a lot of datasheets, because where I shop - you generally get a bag full of them, and nothing that you would call a datasheet. Perhaps I should shop in better places, but I just can't stop myself. And as for the end result, there are…
