About the Numpad PCB

Numpad is an open source PCB design by vladimir-aubrecht, published on GitHub under the Custom license license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 82.5 × 128 mm, with 64 components from 43 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the MAX7301ATL+ and IS31FL3743-QF. By type, the board carries 33 diodes, 6 resistors, 3 ICs, 3 capacitors and 2 connectors.

It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

From the project

Custom made TKL RGB HotSwap keyboard.

This project is trying to build following: - :whitecheckmark: TKL hotswap keyboard for Cherry MX switches. - :whitecheckmark: RGB LEDs under each switch (individually controllable from connected device). - :whitecheckmark: Bluetooth 5.0. - :whitecheckmark: Charging through USB-C. - :construction: Anodized aluminium frame of Filco Majestouch 2 design. - :whitecheckmark: Part of case with connector is removable & replacable (to replace either connector or whole microcontroller for any other).

Numpad: common questions

How big is the Numpad PCB?

The Numpad measures 82.5 × 128 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Numpad?

64 components, from 43 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Numpad design files?

From the vladimir-aubrecht/Keyboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Numpad design in my own project?

It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
