About the Dryer Buzzer V3 PCB
Dryer Buzzer V3 is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by 97Cweb, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 47.7 × 50.8 mm, with 8 components from 7 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Arduino_Nano_v3.x, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 3 connectors, 3 resistors, 1 module and 1 capacitor.
It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery, and the repository also holds 1 earlier revision of it.
From the project
An Arduino project based on adding a buzzer to a washer and dryer on the same board
A thing to build to put buzzers back on the washing machine and dryer
V1 used a photoresistor on the washing machine V2 uses 2 optocouplers to get the washing machine knob position.
Both use a non invasive current sensor for the dryer to get whether it is on or not.
You will also need a speaker module to get enough volume from the audio.

Dryer Buzzer V3: common questions
What microcontroller does the Dryer Buzzer V3 use?
The Dryer Buzzer V3 is built around the Arduino_Nano_v3.x, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Dryer Buzzer V3 PCB?
The Dryer Buzzer V3 measures 47.7 × 50.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Dryer Buzzer V3?
8 components, from 7 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Dryer Buzzer V3 design files?
From the 97Cweb/Washer-Dryer-Buzzer repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Dryer Buzzer V3 design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with 97Cweb. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Dryer Buzzer V3 without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
