About the Wmbus PCB

Wmbus is an open source PCB design by absmach, published on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 25.4 × 28.6 mm, with 6 components from 5 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the RC-S2LP-868. By type, the board carries 2 connectors, 2 resistors, 1 IC and 1 capacitor.

It belongs with the iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

From the project

A0 IoT Gateway

A plug-in expansion module for the A0 base board implementing Wireless M-Bus (EN 13757-4).

The WMBUS module adds a Wireless M-Bus radio for reading utility meters (heat, water, gas, electricity). Plug it into one of the A0 base board's expansion slots (BUS1 or BUS2) to enable smart metering deployments.

- Wireless M-Bus (EN 13757-4) communication - Connects to the ESP32-C6 over the expansion bus - Powered from the expansion bus
