About the Wearable air quality PCB

Wearable air quality is an open source PCB design by AMA-Labs, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 20.9 × 22.6 mm, with 10 components from 6 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 110-407, SCD41 and MCP6L02x-xMS. By type, the board carries 5 ICs, 4 resistors and 1 connector.

It belongs with the sensors and wearables designs in this gallery.

From the project

A prototype Arduino air quality sensor designed to be worn at head level.

In sps30.h file make sure to do the following Comment out: #define INCLUDESOFTWARESERIAL 1

Change I2C length from 32 to 256>> #define I2C_LENGTH 256

Receieve buffer length change for non SMALLFOOTPRINT from 128 to 256: #else #define MAXRECVBUFLENGTH 256

Also install the ArduinoBLE library for the Arduino_BHY2. ----------------------

Wearable air quality: common questions

How big is the Wearable air quality PCB?

The Wearable air quality measures 20.9 × 22.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Wearable air quality?

10 components, from 6 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Wearable air quality design files?

From the AMA-Labs/wearable-air-quality repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Wearable air quality design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with AMA-Labs. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
