About the Hwboard bike computer PCB
Hwboard bike computer is an open source STM32 PCB design by axoulc, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 277 × 190 mm, with 5 components from 5 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RASPBERRY_PI_ZERO_2_W, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the TESEO-LIV3R, TPS61089, BQ25622ERYKR and MAX17048G+.
It belongs with the sensors, rf & radio and iot & wireless designs in this gallery.
From the project
HWBoard Bike Computer PCB: A KiCad hardware project for building a custom printed circuit board (PCB) designed for a feature-rich, open-source bike computer. Powered by Raspberry Pi Compute Module 0 (CM0).
This project is a KiCad hardware design for a custom printed circuit board (PCB) that powers a modern open-source bike computer, inspired by Pi Zero Bikecomputer.
It enables you to build a feature-rich cycling computer with GPS, sensors, and offline maps, using an STM32H743 microcontroller as the main processor and an nRF54L for Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity with a companion mobile app.

Hwboard bike computer: common questions
What microcontroller does the Hwboard bike computer use?
The Hwboard bike computer is built around the RASPBERRY_PI_ZERO_2_W, from the STM32 family.
How big is the Hwboard bike computer PCB?
The Hwboard bike computer measures 277 × 190 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Hwboard bike computer?
5 components, from 5 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Hwboard bike computer design files?
From the axoulc/hwboard-bike-computer repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Hwboard bike computer design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license, which axoulc chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Hwboard bike computer without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
