About the Tc531000-tl866-adapter PCB

Tc531000-tl866-adapter is an open source PCB design by barbeque, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 41.7 × 42.7 mm, with 6 components from 4 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the TC531000 and 27C010. By type, the board carries 2 ICs, 2 jumpers and 2 test points.

From the project

Adapt a Toshiba TC531000 mask ROM to a 27c010 pinout so it can be dumped in a TL866

It has not yet been confirmed working for:

- NEC µPD23c1000 - TI TMS47c1024 - Toshiba TC531000

- ZIF socket 28 pin (wide) or 28-pin DIP socket - Male pin headers - Jumper (optional)

You will get a warning about incorrect chip ID; mask ROMs do not seem to obey this part of the standard. The -y is to ignore it.

I recommend doing multiple dumps and comparing them, to make sure there are no spotty connections.
