About the Micro wwvb PCB
Micro wwvb is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by chgenly, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 42.6 × 40.6 mm, with 16 components from 13 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ATtiny44A, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the TSM-103-01-T-SV-002 and 10125394-T0803ALF. By type, the board carries 4 resistors, 3 ICs, 3 LEDs, 3 capacitors, 1 crystal and 1 connector.
It belongs with the rf & radio and wearables designs in this gallery.
From the project
A low power WWVB transmitter for sycnhronizing an atomic watch from a GPS module
μWWVB is a low power 60 khz [WWVB] transmitter used to automatically set the time on radio synchronized clocks and wristwatches where the regular [WWVB] signal isn’t available. The system acquires the correct time via GPS.
If you are interested in building a WWVB transmitter, I recommend you look at pico wwvb. It's much cheaper to build, and a lot less work.

Micro wwvb: common questions
What microcontroller does the Micro wwvb use?
The Micro wwvb is built around the ATtiny44A, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Micro wwvb PCB?
The Micro wwvb measures 42.6 × 40.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Micro wwvb?
16 components, from 13 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Micro wwvb design files?
From the chgenly/micro-wwvb repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Micro wwvb design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which chgenly chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Micro wwvb without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
