Its main chip is the STM32_H743_FC, from the STM32 family. By type, the board carries 8 modules and 4 switches.

It belongs with the robotics & motion, dev boards & breakouts and sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

A complete open-source flight controller architecture for the STM32H743. Includes custom Betaflight target files, bare-metal silicon bug fixes, and a ruggedized carrier board blueprint optimized for dual SPI BMI160 IMUs and heavy-lift multi rotors.

This document outlines the complete hardware architecture, propulsion system, and Betaflight tuning parameters for the 10-inch Mark 4 endurance cruiser. The PID and filter configurations are specifically optimized for smooth, long-range flight dynamics and heavy payload stability, utilizing a custom STM32H743 flight controller.

These PID values are tailored for the high inertia of a 10-inch frame. D-gains are set slightly higher on Pitch to combat the larger moment of inertia, while Feedforward is kept moderate for smooth, cinematic stick feel.

STM32h743-devboard betaflight: common questions

What microcontroller does the STM32h743-devboard betaflight use?

The STM32h743-devboard betaflight is built around the STM32_H743_FC, from the STM32 family.

How big is the STM32h743-devboard betaflight PCB?

The STM32h743-devboard betaflight measures 58.2 × 68.2 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the STM32h743-devboard betaflight?

24 components, from 4 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the STM32h743-devboard betaflight design files?

From the CK20000/STM32h743-devboard-betaflight repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the STM32h743-devboard betaflight design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which CK20000 chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the STM32h743-devboard betaflight without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
