About the Deeperc PCB

Deeperc is an open source STM32 PCB design by deeperc, published on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. It is a board, with 32 components from 17 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the STM32F103C8T6, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the AMS1117-3.3. By type, the board carries 13 capacitors, 5 resistors, 4 connectors, 2 ICs, 1 crystal and 1 switch.

A deterministic-first schematic checker for KiCad. It parses a netlist, resolves each component against cached datasheet extractions and a structured peripheral knowledge base, and runs a fixed battery of checkers — supply voltage, structural connectivity, peripheral pin-role coherence and bus capability, pull-up presence/value, output conflicts — to flag concrete, evidence-backed defects that KiCad's built-in ERC cannot see. Any LLM-generated text in a report explains a verdict the deterministic checks already reached; it never asserts one on its own.

Deeperc: common questions

What microcontroller does the Deeperc use?

The Deeperc is built around the STM32F103C8T6, from the STM32 family.

How many components are on the Deeperc?

32 components, from 17 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Deeperc design files?

From the deeperc/deeperc repository on GitHub, which has a netlist; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Deeperc design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its Apache-2.0 license, which deeperc chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Deeperc without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
