About the Module

Module is an open source PCB design by Dennis960, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 37.6 × 37.6 mm, with 18 components from 8 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the PY32F002BF15P6TU and HallLinearSensor. By type, the board carries 8 resistors, 4 LEDs, 4 capacitors and 2 ICs.

From the project

SmartCube is a smart cube that can magnetically connect to other cubes in four directions

This folder contains the KiCad projects for the SmartCube LED module, power supply module, and pogo pin connectors. It also includes helper scripts for panelization of the PCBs for manufacturing.

The KiCad projects all use the same shared library located in the libs folder.

If having problems loading footprints or 3d models, make sure to add the symbol and CustomFootprints libraries in KiCad.

Module: common questions

How big is the Module?

The Module measures 37.6 × 37.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Module?

18 components, from 8 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Module design files?

From the Dennis960/SmartCube repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Module design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Dennis960. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
