A 3-key mechanical macropad built for Hack Club's Hackpad program. Powered by a Seeed XIAO RP2040 and running KMK firmware. ## Overview

A simple, no-frills 3-key macropad. Each switch is wired directly to a GPIO pin on the XIAO (no diode matrix needed at this key count), and the whole thing is powered and programmed over the XIAO's onboard USB-C — no battery or charging circuit.

Hackpad: common questions

How big is the Hackpad PCB?

The Hackpad measures 19 × 50.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Hackpad?

4 components, from 2 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Hackpad design files?

From the dmnlaali/hackpad repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Hackpad design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with dmnlaali. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
