About the BeebSCSI PCB
BeebSCSI is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by Domesday86, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 65.5 × 50.8 mm, with 47 components from 23 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the AT90USB1287, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the LM1117-3.3, XC9572XL and 74AHC125S. By type, the board carries 20 resistors, 14 capacitors, 6 connectors, 4 ICs, 1 transistor and 1 crystal.
From the project
SCSI-1 Emulator for 8-bit Acorn computers such as the BBC Master and BBC Model B
BeebSCSI is a Micro SD Card based SCSI storage emulation for the Acorn 8-bit range of microcomputers including the Acorn BBC Model B (with ADFS) and the BBC Master 128.
Please see the project wiki for detailed documentation on BeebSCSI
The project is divided into several sections:
BeebSCSI_AVR - This is the AT90USB1287 microcontroller firmware (written in GCC)
BeebSCSI_CPLD - This is the Xilinx XC9572XL CPLD firmware (written in ISE Verilog)

BeebSCSI: common questions
What microcontroller does the BeebSCSI use?
The BeebSCSI is built around the AT90USB1287, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the BeebSCSI PCB?
The BeebSCSI measures 65.5 × 50.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the BeebSCSI?
47 components, from 23 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the BeebSCSI design files?
From the Domesday86/BeebSCSI repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the BeebSCSI design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Domesday86. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the BeebSCSI without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
