About the MuddersMIMA PCB
MuddersMIMA is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by doppelhub, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 56 × 59 mm, with 82 components from 17 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Arduino_Nano_v3.x, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 40 resistors, 21 capacitors, 12 transistors, 5 connectors, 3 diodes and 1 module.

Opening this file in the Arduino IDE will suck in all the other files that the project uses, and present them in separate tabs in the IDE.
It pulls in an h file, , which is discussed below and which draws in all other constant, variable and function definitions.
The main loop calls methods to output status, parse commands, and do work depending on which of three modes is selected by a toggle switch. This is a MITM for MAMODE1, MAMODE2 and CMD_PWR signals from ECM to MCM.

MuddersMIMA: common questions
What microcontroller does the MuddersMIMA use?
The MuddersMIMA is built around the Arduino_Nano_v3.x, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the MuddersMIMA PCB?
The MuddersMIMA measures 56 × 59 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the MuddersMIMA?
82 components, from 17 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the MuddersMIMA design files?
From the doppelhub/MuddersMIMA repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the MuddersMIMA design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which doppelhub chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the MuddersMIMA without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
