About the Le oeuf PCB

Le oeuf is an open source PCB design by eggsworks, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 215.1 × 81.2 mm, with 75 components from 5 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 74HC595D,118. By type, the board carries 37 switches, 36 diodes, 1 IC and 1 connector.

It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

Le oeuf: common questions

How big is the Le oeuf PCB?

The Le oeuf measures 215.1 × 81.2 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Le oeuf?

75 components, from 5 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Le oeuf design files?

From the eggsworks/le-oeuf repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Le oeuf design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license, which eggsworks chose for the repository.
