About the Hardware qrng PCB
Hardware qrng is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by elegantmonark, published on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 89 × 52 mm, with 6 components from 5 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ARDUINO, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the LM358N. By type, the board carries 2 resistors, 1 IC, 1 connector and 1 diode.
It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

Hardware qrng: common questions
What microcontroller does the Hardware qrng use?
The Hardware qrng is built around the ARDUINO, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Hardware qrng PCB?
The Hardware qrng measures 89 × 52 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Hardware qrng?
6 components, from 5 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Hardware qrng design files?
From the elegantmonark/hardware-qrng repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Hardware qrng design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its Apache-2.0 license, which elegantmonark chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Hardware qrng without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
