About the Mysterium PCB
Mysterium is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by eliaskountouris, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 347.7 × 146.6 mm, with 206 components from 26 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Elias Kountouris, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 95 switches, 89 diodes, 7 resistors, 5 capacitors, 1 IC and 1 crystal.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.
From the project
Desigin based on myserium keyboard. I made some adjustments to the schematics, and then rerouted the entire board. I also created firmware for the board using QMK firmware.

Mysterium: common questions
What microcontroller does the Mysterium use?
The Mysterium is built around the Elias Kountouris, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Mysterium PCB?
The Mysterium measures 347.7 × 146.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Mysterium?
206 components, from 26 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Mysterium design files?
From the eliaskountouris/MysteriumRerouted repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Mysterium design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with eliaskountouris. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Mysterium without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
